Nomax was founded with a simple belief: solo travel doesn't have to mean lonely travel. We connect travelers with like-minded people around the world, turning individual journeys into shared adventures and strangers into lifelong friends.
Every feature we build starts with the same question: does this make it easier for a solo traveler to find their people? The city chat, the activity feed, the map — everything exists to reduce the friction between arriving somewhere new and feeling genuinely connected.

Nomax covers 922 cities across 67+ countries — from Bangkok and Bali to Lisbon and Buenos Aires. In each city, travelers can browse who else is around, post a spontaneous activity, and chat with locals and visitors in real time. The app is free, available on iOS and Android, and requires no account to browse.
We're built by VAST FLOW, a small team based in Kazakhstan with a passion for travel and a frustration with how hard it is to meet people while doing it. The founding team has collectively visited over 40 countries and has lived the loneliness of solo travel firsthand. That's why Nomax exists: not as a business idea, but as a tool we genuinely needed ourselves.
